Version 1.1
Ben's Toys » Devlog
Hello! I have decided to make an update for Ben's Toys. Here's what changed in Version 1.1:
- Added more spooky elements.
- When the shooter spots the player, the player will get shot within half a second instead of one second.
- Added random light flickering.
- Improved shooter's player detection.
- Added difficulty options: Easy, Normal, Hard.
- Other minor changes or additions that may not be worth mentioning.
I think it'll be worth playing through the game again if you want to check out the changes. Thanks to everybody who has played so far!

Hello! I played v1.1 of your game, and I couldn't get the light to load when inserting toys. V1 seemed to work fine.
Hi! I had no issues when playing through Version 1.1, but maybe a toy fell out of the box and you didn't notice? Sometimes that can happen, where a toy falls through the box if there's a bunch of toys in there. But glad to hear you had a good experience with Version 1.0! :)
If it helps, I've made a highlight of me doing it here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2318037318
I tried many different times, with and without the box, but no such luck.
Just checked out the video, been busy with life stuff last couple days, I hope you're doing well :) I personally haven't seen anyone else experience this issue and I haven't experienced it myself. I test my games thoroughly to make sure game-breaking issues like this don't appear since I like to make sure players have the best experience possible. If you are certain you made sure that all the toys were in and tried a few different methods, there was probably some very rare bug that happened where the counters for the objects in the script probably messed up causing it to not detect right, but that's just a theory. Thanks for reporting the bug anyway, since even if it is rare it's still good to know about it! :D
