Version 1.1 Out Now
The Tank » Devlog
Version 1.1 of The Tank is now here! Here's the changes, additions, and fixes in this update:
- Added option to toggle smooth camera movement
- Flashlight's status now saves (If you save the game whilst the flashlight is on, it will be on when you load back into the game in your next session).
- Fixed flashlight being able to be toggled on/off during intro cutscene.
- Added alarms in some areas of the level.
- Restructured the Settings menu.
- Added text into Settings menu which explains that if a X toggle button has a gray background, that means it's toggled off.
- Fixed Depth of Field turning on during normal ending scene if the player has the setting off.
- Added triggers which make sure the player isn't crouching at the entrance of The Tank & Station crawl-tunnel. (The player already automatically uncrouches when in the crawl-tunnel, but I added triggers at the entrance since you could still crouch there and clip a bit through the crawl-tunnel ground before being uncrouched.)
- Fixed up the floor in the crawl-tunnel where the player could fall through the map at the first dead-end to the right when entering for the first time.
- When jumping off the staircase to The Tank, if the player is still holding down the movement buttons/keys whilst falling, footstep sounds won't play.
- Resized white floor tile materials to blend better with each other.
- Fixed Shadow Atlas Size & Shadows settings not saving properly.
- Other minor changes or fixes.
