About:

Daunting Footage is a short, psychological horror game made in Unity. Experience a video found on the dark web titled "Bodhi_n_friends.mp4" and explore a small, mazey, dark area to try find out what's going on.

Controls:

[WASD] Move

[Hold RMB] Zoom in

Just to add:

I made this game in less than 24 hours and it wasn't intended to be anything big. This is a quick idea I thought of whilst working on a larger project involving the same characters featured in this game. Bodhi 'n' Friends is out now:

That's cool to hear! Thanks! :)

Very nice what you managed to do with such limited resources and on such a time constraint. Even without a lot of jumpscare sounds and spooky animations, it managed to unsettle me. Thanks for sharing this with us!

Thanks for playing, man :)

A lot shorter than I hoped but not bad. When you see the text on the wall "you won't find them," I didn't know you had to walk right up to it to activate the next section so I ended up looping around twice. Not much a maze when you only have one circle to walk around, made the dead ends rather pointless but I kept checking them thinking the maze would change. The finale jump scare was expected but their silent movement  made it more eerie than loud yelling/screaming. Would've been cool if there was moments you turn around to look back at them you'd catch a glimpse of them watching you. Small details can make these quick game sesh go a long way.

They look so happy.

Thanks for the feedback and for playing! It's much appreciated.

just wondering, i know that "bunny's curse" is more of a backstory on bunny (from the first games you have published here!), is this the one for that guy in "this game is for you"?

Nah, this is a new character called Bodhi, but he does looks similar to Linus. I got the idea for this character from an image I generated once in the Dall-E AI Image Generator - and thanks for playing!

This was nice, how long did it take to make?

Hey, thanks for playing! It took me less than 24 hours to make this :) I've been working on another project with the same characters featured in this game and had a quick idea I wanted to whip up which ended up being this! I'm still working on the larger project involving these characters, so stay tuned for that! ;)
